WILFRED KIMBER
MUSIC & SOUND
Based in Leeds as a freelance musician, Wilfred graduated with a first-class degree in film music composition at Leeds Conservatoire in 2021. Trained on viola and guitar his compositions are varied in genre and style, alongside his experimental approach to sound/ sound design.
In 2022 Wilfred was awarded Arts Council England's 'Developing Your Creative Practice' funding to further his experience & research into music for contemporary dance which has been developing ever since.
Wilfred is frequently collaborating with likeminded artists in the independent film, contemporary dance, and music industries, having had many of his scores played at national and international theatres & festivals.
Alongside his collaborations Wilfred is also continuously working on independent music, having had work published by UK production music companies.
