MUSIC & SOUND
Originally from North Yorkshire, Wilfred is composer & sound designer now based in Leeds. Since studying Film Music at Leeds Conservatoire he has scored numerous independent films, working with directors Michael Jung, Ai Narapol, Connor Orton, & Daarya Serji.
Wilfred also began collaborating with choreographers & dance artists in 2020, culminating in a successful ACE ‘Developing Your Creative Practice’ project in 2022 to further these collaborations, working with choreographers/ companies Northern Rascals, Sylvie Holder, Katy Hewison, York Dance Space, Rees Dance, & YDT Studios
Alongside these collaborations Wilfred has had numerous pieces of independent music broadcast by the BBC on Introducing, The Sleeping Forecast, & Radio 3's Ultimate Calm with Ólafur Arnalds.
Wilfred’s passion for organic sound generation & recording comes from his own genre-spanning love of music & story-telling, & is hardwired into all of the creations he undertakes.
